The route runs through the Olla de Estiviellas: physically demanding in places but with no technical difficulty, entering a wood of beech, pine and birch before climbing to the high mountain zone and reaching the viewpoint over the Cola de Caballo waterfall. It is a circular walk along both sides of the Estiviellas ravine, offering the best views of Canfranc-Estación and the great walls that surround it.
This route is a perfect combination of different elements: a cool walk through woodland of pine, beech, birch, maple and chestnut with open stretches of low scrub, several viewpoints, the remains of impressive hydrological and forestry works, and stunning high-mountain views over the Canfranc Station. Discover the Fuente del Burro, the Mirador de Segrás and even a horse-tail waterfall that does not always carry water.
