Easy and adapted route for all ages and physical conditions, which runs around the Station. Our tour starts from the center of Canfranc-Estación, is private for you and yours and lasts approximately 2 hours.
We will walk along the Paseo de los Melancólicos and the nearby forest and the route runs through beautiful landscapes formed by vegetation typical of the place, with trees such as beech, pine and acacia. Hand in hand with our expert local guide we will interpret the history, anecdotes, legends and peculiarities of our surroundings, designed and created around the magnificent Canfranc International Station.
We will visit the defensive "P" Line and its bunkers. You will learn about the complex civil and forestry construction works to make the area where the Station was to be located safe and habitable.
You will discover the fascinating history of Canfranc in relation to Europe and World War II, and finally we will tell you about the functions and why of the "mysterious" Canfranc Underground Laboratory. (We cannot visit its interior, but we will reach its access tunnel).
